DTF Design Licence Agreement – Sublimation Designs UK

By purchasing and using our DTF (Direct to Film) design files, you agree to the terms outlined in this license agreement. These terms ensure the proper use of our designs and protect both you as the customer and DAB Digital Designs Limited, the owner of all design files. Please read this agreement carefully.

Permitted Use:

1. Personal and Commercial Use (Up to 1000 Prints on Products):
   You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our DTF designs for creating up to 1000 physical products (such as t-shirts, mugs, etc.). These products can be sold commercially, but you cannot sell the DTF prints themselves. All prints must be applied directly to the final product.
2. Printing with TD Prints:
   You may share a purchased design with TD Prints only for your authorised printing order. The applicable design licence and quantity limits still apply. No extended licence is needed for printing through TD Prints. No other third-party printing services are permitted.
3. Product Use Only:
   The printed designs must be used on physical products such as clothing, home decor, or promotional items. You are not allowed to sell the printed transfers themselves. The prints are for use on final products only, which can then be sold to customers.

Prohibited Use:

1. No Selling of DTF Prints or Transfers:
   You are strictly prohibited from selling the printed DTF transfers as standalone items. The transfers must only be used to create final products (e.g., a printed t-shirt) for sale. Selling the prints without applying them to a product violates this agreement.
2. No Digital File Sharing (Except with TD Prints):
   You may not share, distribute, or sell our digital design files in any form, except for providing a purchased design to TD Prints for an authorised printing order. No extended licence is needed for printing through TD Prints. Sharing these files with other individuals or companies for printing or any other purpose is not allowed.
3. No Alterations to Designs (Except Adding Text):
   The designs cannot be altered or modified, except for the addition of text. You may customize the design by adding text, but the core design itself must remain unchanged.
4. No Reselling or Distribution of Digital Files:
   You are not permitted to resell, trade, or give away the digital files, whether as standalone items or as part of a package. This includes any altered versions of the files.

Customer Responsibility for Uploads:

Customers are fully responsible for the files they upload for printing. Some of our older design files were originally created with sublimation in mind and may not be fully suitable for DTF printing. We strongly recommend checking all files, particularly older designs, before uploading for printing. We cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise from using designs that may not be optimized for DTF.

Ownership and Intellectual Property:

All digital design files are the intellectual property of DAB Digital Designs Limited. Purchasing a design file grants you a license to use the file as outlined in this agreement but does not transfer ownership of the design itself.

Quantity limits

The quantity limits in the applicable design licence still apply. An extended digital licence is no longer available. Contact us before exceeding the permitted quantity; permission must not be assumed.

Violations and Penalties:

Any violation of this license agreement may result in the immediate termination of your license to use our designs, without a refund. We reserve the right to take legal action for breaches of these terms.

Updates to This Licence Agreement:

DAB Digital Designs Limited reserves the right to update or modify this license agreement at any time. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly for any changes.
